Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 June 2026
Revodien Pty Ltd trading as Cognivren ("we", "us", "our") runs cognivren.com (the "Site") and sells digital products through it. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we handle it.
We are an Australian business and handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We don't target customers in the EU or UK. If you happen to visit from the EEA or UK and the GDPR applies to you, some extra rights may apply — these are noted in section 9.
Questions or requests? Email support@cognivren.com.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Name and email address — when you buy, download a free resource, or contact us.
- Payment details — entered directly with Stripe at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Site we may automatically collect information such as:
- Usage and device data — for example pages viewed, referring page, approximate (city-level) location, and browser and device type.
- Identifiers set by cookies and similar technologies — see section 2.
2. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies in three groups:
- Strictly necessary — needed for the Site to work and to remember your cookie choice. Always active.
- Analytics — help us understand how the Site is used (Google Analytics). Used only if you accept.
- Advertising — measure how our ads perform (Google Ads). Used only if you accept.
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Reject non-essential cookies. Until you accept, analytics and advertising cookies stay off. You can change or withdraw your choice anytime via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
The main cookies we use include:
| Cookie / item | Provider | Purpose | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| cognivren-consent | Cognivren | Remembers your cookie consent choice | Necessary |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention and secure payment at checkout | Necessary |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Tells visitors apart and keeps session state | Analytics |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Measures ad clicks/conversions (set when we run ads) | Advertising |
3. Analytics — Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the Site. Google processes this data on our behalf, as described in "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services". You can opt out across all sites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by rejecting analytics cookies in our banner.
4. Advertising — Google Ads
We use Google Ads to promote Cognivren and to measure how our ads perform, including:
- Conversion measurement — recording when an ad click leads to an action such as a download or purchase, so we can see which ads work.
- Remarketing — showing our ads to people who have previously visited the Site.
- Enhanced conversions — where you make a purchase, we may share a securely hashed (one-way encrypted) version of your email address with Google to match a conversion to an ad click more accurately. Google receives only the hashed value, not your readable email.
These advertising features run only where you have accepted advertising cookies. You can control or opt out of personalised advertising:
- Google Ads settings — adssettings.google.com
- Industry opt-outs — youronlinechoices.com and aboutads.info
- Reject advertising cookies in our banner.
5. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver the products you buy and send order confirmations.
- Deliver free resources you request — for example, emailing you the AI Cheat Sheet.
- Provide support and respond to your enquiries.
- Measure Site usage and ad performance (only if you accept the relevant cookies).
- Send marketing emails only if you opt in — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Keep the Site working and secure.
- Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
If the GDPR applies to you, our legal bases are: performing our contract (to deliver products and support), your consent (analytics, advertising and marketing emails), our legitimate interests (to keep the Site working and secure), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
6. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who handle it on our behalf, such as:
- Payment processors — such as Stripe — stripe.com/privacy
- Analytics and advertising providers — such as Google (Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Google Ads) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Hosting and email delivery providers — such as Amazon Web Services (including Amazon SES) — aws.amazon.com/privacy
We may add or change providers over time. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
7. Where We Process Your Information
We use cloud infrastructure (such as Amazon Web Services) to run the Site and our services, and we — and our service providers — operate in, and may store or process your information in, more than one country, including Australia and the United States, and other regions where our providers operate. We may change the regions we use over time as our infrastructure evolves. Wherever your information is processed, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected, and our providers apply their own safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable).
8. How Long We Keep It
- Order and transaction records — kept while needed for our business uses, to provide the product, and to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Analytics data — retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months.
- Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Free-download sign-ups — we keep your email to send you the resource and for our records; you can ask us to delete it at any time.
9. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time by emailing support@cognivren.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
If you are in the EEA or UK and the GDPR applies to you, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
11. Children
The Site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
